A morning printing gathered materials from the hedgerow working with a large group of over 60s, all keen to experiment with the printing process. This was a workshop for Suffolk Artlink’s Make, Do and Friends programme that uses creativity as a way of combatting rural loneliness.
The printing press came out on the road for the first time and we used Hawthorn sustainable oil based inks to capture the intricate detail of the leaves.
We were so engrossed that we almost carried on working through coffee break supplied by the excellent Rural Coffee Caravan.
